About Atina

I’ve always been much more comfortable on stage, in the classroom, or smack in the middle of a good book. There are so many beautiful things to appreciate about our emotions — from their complexity and ambiguity, right down to the simple fact that every one of us simply wants to be accepted and loved.

After years of being a classically-trained vocalist and university instructor, it’s proven  impossible to ignore the call to live my life as a writer of fiction and nonfiction. There will certainly be upsides and downsides to finally heeding the call. As I learn more about the craft and finding my place in the literary world, I want to share my experiences, and hopefully find the inspiration that I’m always looking for by interacting with YOU.

Love, Light, and Romance

Love & Light

I like to focus on the things that bring many of us happiness, especially during such tumultuous times of anger and divisiveness. I believe that everyone has the right to love and be loved, consent is not optional, and souls connect beyond the boundaries of race, gender, nationality, or language. Love is Love. It always has been, and it always will be. Because I do my best to live a faith-based, holistic lifestyle, aspects of this will often be reflected in my work. This is an integral part of who I am.

My novels, short stories, and novellas have main characters that are strong-willed and purpose-driven, and there is always a happily-ever-after (HEA). The stories vary in heat-level, from sweet young adult first-love romantic stories to contemporary romance tales with a dash of suspense and tastefully sensual moments.

I hope that you’ll join me on my journey, and get to know and love my characters and their stories as much as I do.
